IPL Problematic Skin - Acne

IPL treatment of acne is intended as an acne management programme to enable relief from the continued use of medication.

IPL does not entirely cure acne but assists in the production of natural porphyrins to help fight the acne bacteria by producing singlet oxygen, which destroys the bacteria in situ.

Usually 5-8 treatments are required at 1-3 week intervals to provide relief from mild to moderate inflammatory acne
